January random pics

As I was looking through the pics on my camera/phone, there were some I wanted to post up! All pretty random!

"This" happened one evening before Lawson and I went to her dance class.  Hudson got some "magic" toys for Christmas and he spends every spare minute learning new tricks!  This particular afternoon he had dressed himself the part and recruited Lawson as his lovely assistant!  Hilarious!

Rob stumbled across this pic on his phone the other night and I laughed so hard!  Still their personalities EXACTLY! Hudson wild and crazy and Lawson rather put out with him!

The kids were out of school for MLK day and the local skating rink offered free skating.  So, Rob and Judy took the kids.  They had so much fun!  And they both won stuff...which just thrilled them!  Lawson won a door prize blanket and Hudson was on a winning relay race team!

While at the skating rink, Hudson got to play ice hockey...which inspired this game of broom hockey in our backyard!

We surprised the kids with tickets to  Monster Jam at Verizon Arena one Friday night!  I had no idea what to expect really....but I channeled my inner redneck and had a lot of fun!

????Hudson bought a stick on mustache out of a vending  machine at a restaurant one Sunday afternoon.  And this was the result???  NO way to explain but we laughed and laughed at this pic! 

 Hudson made this iron man costume by himself and scotch taped himself into it one afternoon.  It took him several attempts to get it right.  He worked on this for about 2 hours!

 Our church filled our entire auditorium with inflatables one Sunday evening for a family fun night! Pretty awesome!

Unfortunately our team did NOT win the superbowl this year!  But, our party was good!

My 39th!

Happy Birthday to me!  Everyone went out of their way to make this a great day for me! Rob ordered me this cookie cake.  He called Great American Cookie Company and told them to do a balloon cake and then match the border to the balloons. ?? It looked find and tasted GREAT! But, I had to wonder at how the decorator arrived at the pattern and color selection the border.  Maybe its just me...but I thought it was unusual! (Lawson did my candles.  I am 39.  Can you see it?)

We went to church then brought home Dickey's BBQ.  Rob built a wonderful fire.  The high was in the low 20s today!  We watched playoff football and played Uno!  Great way to spend the day in my opinion!

Oh yea! I almost forgot! Lots of presents! (Think I had been eating red icing?!)

My mom bought me this cute new sweater for Christmas! Made the perfect birthday outfit!

Here's to a great 39! You know who's coming next! The big 4-0!

First Basketball Game of the Season

Hudson started a new season of basketball today! How fun are sports introductions?!  He scored 8 points and had  lot of fun!  He is #1!
