Hudson's Birthday Eve!

Wow! Hudson's actually birthday isn't today...but it sure felt like it was!

Mimi Sue to our house this morning to pick up Hudson and take him to a lunch date with Lawson at her school!
Then Nonie and Poppa came into town this evening and we had a fabulous birthday dinner! Hudson got to sit in the "up-high" chair as we call it since it was his special birthday weekend!

Then we opened family birthday presents! It might have been even better than Christmas for Hudson around here tonight! He got some pretty awesome stuff! Just look at his face!

And a big boy swing...to replace his baby one on our porch (snif, snif!)

Of course, we had to out and try everything!

Then time for some cake! But, there was no taking the David Chicken hat off!

...Unless the referee hat was going on!

Hudson's First Soccer Practice

This was one happy little boy tonight! He was totally in the zone and hanging on to his coach's EVERY word! He worked really hard tonight and had SO much fun! I think this is the first of a lifetime of sports for this little man!

He kept saying "Hey Coach...Watch this!"

So cute!

SO Hot But SO Fun!

We spent the afternoon and evening at Putt Putt celebrating one of our friends birthday (Caleb....he isn't in any of the pics).

It was unbelievable hot but we still managed to have a LOT of fun! Probably because the kids were getting to do some things they have never done before. This was Hudson's first time to play putt putt....and he was SO excited to have an actual hole to hit his ball into (like they do on TV he said). He got 2 holes in one!
Lawson got a hole in one too!

Lawson's first time to drive a little race car...by herself! I can't believe she is big enough to drive anything by herself! She was SO excited to be in the M & M car!

This was Hudson's first time in to ride in Go-Kart!

They really believe they are going to get a toy from this game! Even though it eats there token EVERY time!

Notice how Rob put the kids up on the game so they could play. They were both actually REALLY good at this game!

Lawson's first time on a bumper boat with that had a water gun feature on it! She was drenched when she got off!

We played there from 4-9 and the kids were still going strong!

I think we will have to go back to this place sometime...when the weather is cooler!

Grandparents Day 2010

Lawson was SO lucky to have her Nonie and Poppa make a whirlwind trip here from Little Rock to attend Grandparents Dat at her school! They treated her to some yummy sonic for lunch too! And they let Hudson tag along with them!

She was so proud to have them there!

And so happy to that they got to see her school!

Happy Birthday Rob!

We had fun celebrating Rob's 41st birthday!

Rob's parents drove down and treated us to a yummy dinner at Cheddars!

Fun Memories From This Past Week

Lawson spent most of the day yesterday pretending she was Ms. Crystal working in the baby room at SS Noah. (Ms. Crystal works in the baby room at SS Noah where I work.) Lawson LOVES babies...like is obsessed with them...and would SO love to have Ms. Crystal's job! AND based on what I see from Lawson....she could probably handle it!

She would feed her baby (notice the detail....she has a bib, burp cloth and the baby wrapped in a blanket) then burp her baby...then put the baby in a swing or on the floor with a toy. She would put the first baby's stuff back in their diaper bag....and then she would move on to the next baby to feed....and get that baby's bottle, bib, burp cloth, etc....out of their diaper bag. This is exactly how Ms. Crystal moves the babies all thru feeding time.

Then she read to each baby individually. She would hold a baby and read it a book....then put that baby bag in a swing or in the floor with a toy...and read to the next baby. She had 5 babies in her class yeserday. So, this was quite a process!

Then on to snack time. Which involves putting the older babies into high chairs and serving them finger foods. (and always wearing gloves while handling the babies food)

I mean I am about ready to hire this girl! She's got it down!

I get SO much joy from watching her play like this!

Friday night Hudson played with all of our Little People Playsets.

I walked in to the living room to see this....he had lined up all the people and animals to be looking at Baby Jesus. The nativity set has a button you press and it plays "Away in A Manger" and the star shines down on Baby Jesus. He said that he had everyone set up to see Baby Jesus and was about to the play the song. He pressed the button and played he song several times. And it was just a really sweet moment. I love that he had everyone focused on Jesus.
Then one day after school I walked into the kitchen and saw THIS....
I don't know how Robbie got on to or off of this tiny drum stool!
What a fun Dad!!
