Sept Randoms

Some new friends invited us to the lake on Labor Day!  It was such a fun way to spend the day and check out Beaver Lake!

We got to babysit Gibson while the rest of his family went to the Razorback Game.  We loved our time hanging out with this sweet baby boy!

Lawson is in band at school this year!  She was hoping for flute and she got it!

We joined the Bentonville Rec Center.  It is an amazing facility!  We hit it most afternoons during the week and some Saturday mornings  I like to go to the fitness classes, Rob works out on the equipment.  The kids can swim, play in the gym or run on the track.  

Our house is a patio home...so this has been a great outlet for us to play and exercise!

We had dinner with some friends who have a lot of land and four wheelers!  We enjoyed a cool evening with grilled hot dogs and smores. The kids rode 4 wheelers, chased chickens and carried around baby kittens!  My city children were in heaven!

We celebrated Rob's 46th birthday!It was a super busy day!  Lawson had church that evening and Hudson had golf.  But, we managed to open presents and eat cookie cake right before bedtime!

Rob scored a new bike. All the cool kids in Bentonville ride bikes!

We went to our first Bentonville Tigers football game!

Hudson's 9th Birthday

This little man turned 9 today!

He has been taking golf lessons this fall and loves it so we celebrated with a golf themed birthday!

All his "friends" were waiting for him to wake up and get the day started!

Might have been a little freaky to wake up to!

His class has been preparing for 3rd Garde Olympics all year long.  They made their own class shirts, created a team name, designed a logo, made signs, etc.  And Hudson thought it was awesome that the Olympic games were actually ON his birthday.  Rob, Nonie and Poppa and I were there to watch.  Hudson represented his class in the football throw and egg drop competitions.  He didn't place but it was fun!

His teacher has a "Birthday Chair" for the birthday kid to use at their desk on their special day!  Pretty fun!

After school we opened presents, then went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner and games.

The next day we continued the celebration by going to our first Razorback Football game!

We had a great time!  It was a gorgeous day...not hot and then got a little cool towards the end of the game!  It was an exciting game...scoring back and forth!  Only way it could have been any better was if the hogs had won!

The band was amazing! So entertaining!  I love a good marching band and this was probably the best one I have ever seen....live anyways!

  What a way to top off Hudson's birthday weekend! Jerry Jones even made the game! If it's good enough for Jerry, its good enough for us!
