This one is my all time FAVORITE! Bless Hudson's heart....he thinks we don't love him. We do love you Hudson....that's why you are dressed in that darling crush velvet jacket and custom distressed jeans! One of my all time favorite outfits on him. And Little La is a complete doll baby!
Hudson would NOT stay in Santa's lap and he was quick enough to get away from Santa....so I was forced to be in the pic! I was thrilled.
They ended their season performing at a Cheer competition for Jr and Sr High Squads that was held at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. They didn't compete. Just performed as an exhibition squad. It was a lot of fun for them and they nailed their routine! Lawson is on on your left as you watch. Best cartwheel she has ever done! Go La!
La and Hud were both in the Bryant Christmas parade. La was on the Empire Cheer float. Hudson was selected to ride on the Bryant Elementary School float. He won an essay contest for his grade on the subject of "What Christmas Means to Me." Way to go, Hudson! Everyone on the BES float was a winner for their grade.
The BES float was so cute! It was two sided and had representations of local businesses in Bryant. (The Bryant Library, Larry's Pizza, Hornet Cafe, etc." The detail on it was amazing! I can't imagine how long it took the teachers to build!
The kids with Mr. Burbank, their principal.
The kids always love putting up their trees in their bedrooms!
We put lights up this year! Last year we didn't get that far! Really festive!
We had Disney night at Kids Life Groups one Sunday night. (Hudson was out of town hunting with Rob.) Lawson has outgrown all of her princess costumes...so we had to think outside the box! Mrs. Potato Head from Toy Story! This might be my all time favorite costume for her! WE made it with felt on one of Rob's old t-shirts! It was adorable! I so wish Hudson hadn't been out of town...he would have made a great Mr. Potato head!
I love our backyard in fall! The colors are gorgeous! The pic does not do it justice! The colors just pop in real life!
I have been married for 19years (where has the time gone???) to my best friend! God has blessed us with two precious children who make us laugh at least once every day (and make us want to pull our hair out every now and then as well!)
I love Jesus, my wonderful family, my friends, the color red, the Cowboys, the Mavericks, watching my kids play (when they don't know I am watching), the internet, holiday traditions, People Magazine, Diet Coke, the USA, things on sale, floating on a raft in the pool, good hair days, thunderstorms, text messaging, watching sports with my hubby, PF Changs, the beach, reality TV, Happy Hour at Sonic, exercising, good music, holding my kids' hands, movies, red licorice, sunsets, shopping for anything, a clean house, laying in bed and watching Good Morning America, vacations, pedicures, my kids dressed in their Sunday best, New York City, new clothes, babies, Pottery Barn and laughing! (It might would have been easier for me to tell you what I DON'T like!)
I am so thankful for the blessings (big and small) that my wonderful Savior gives me each day and for his love and mercy that never fail!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:4-5)
