Well, it ALMOST got completely rained out...but not quite! And I got to take off work and enjoy the festivities!
Lawson's class dominated Tug O War! They took on several different first grade classes and won every time!
They were SO excited!
And I mean they were workin it! Check them out!
Then the sponge relay! Which was everyone's favorite! What's not to love about passing a soaking wet sponge over your head!
They were checking out their "wetness"! And they were pretty satisfied with their findings.
Makes me want to be in first grade again!
Then on to the tornado relay! She had to knock down the pins with the streamers on her belt...while spinning and getting extremely dizzy! Pretty funny to watch!
Cheering on her teamates during the sack race! The rain had begun...but it didn't stop the fun!
Balloon toss with her BFF, Taylor.
Thumder and lightening sent us inside for some board games!
Then a fierce competition of "shoe" relay with another first grade class in the hallway. First run down and put your shoe in the bucket!
Next round, run back...find your shoe...put it on....and run back!
It was a close finish...but La's class pulled it out!
