Christmas Day

The kids awoke Christmas morning to some most wonderful goodies! And NO...that is not trick photography or a special effect. That is how my camera captured the moment of them coming too what Santa brought. Pretty cool!

The kids were SO excited that Santa brought them iPod touches.  I think they are going to have SO much fun with them.  They can text, facetime call, play video games, use the camera and video camera, have alarm clocks, etc!

Hudson asked for bubbles (???) and Santa brought him a huge bottle!  He couldn't wait to get out and blow them...despite it the fact the sun wasn't up and it was FREEZING!

We got dressed and then headed over to Nonie and Poppa's where Santa had suprised again and dropped off a few more gifts for the kids! We hung out for awhile and enjoyed our new stuff!

This kareoke machine is a hit with both of them!

We then hit the road to drive to Mimi and Doo Dads in SNOW!  A white Christmas!  Pretty magical!  It took us twice as long to drive there...but it was a pretty special time.  I told the kids it doesn't snow on Christmas too many times around here...so just enjoy it.  Loved watching the snow fall on Christmas! And very thankful for safe travel.

Love the tradition my mom started a few years ago of having the kids use her nativity pieces to reinact the Christmas story while someone reads it.

Then we sang Away in a Manger and Happy Birthday to Jesus.

And we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.

Then time for gifts!

Loving time with Baby G!  What a special Christmas!

Hudson's reaction to getting his long awaited Stompees!

These boys are SO sweet!

The chaos! I won't lie...Christmas with 9 kids and 9 adults in one room...is pretty wild...and at times a bit overwhelming.  But, it's BIG fun! Thank you to mom for feeding and hosting us ALL...and cleaning up for us afterward!

What an amazing 2 days...Really thankful for all that God has so generously blessed me with.
