This was Hudson's first hit of the night. His coach waived him on to second after the first base man missed the ball. But, watch you will then see the first base man chase after him...and probably would have caught him if he hadn't decided to throw it to second base. I assumed the play would be dead at this point and stopped recording...but his coach waived him on to third. It was another close call at third...until the third base man dropped the ball. Hudson's coach sent him home and he made it! I was too stressed to remember to record the last two bases! But, he got his first in the park HR! Way to go, Hudson!
Another good hit! Just gotta get those legs movin a little faster! Rob and I keep telling him not to watch for the ball...because it slows him down. His response, "I don't." Momma's got proof now!
The braves won this game 9-4. They are 2-1 in the pre-season tournament.
