Hudson is playing flag football with Geyer Springs Baptist Upward program. Today, was the first game of the season. Hudson was so excited about getting introduced on the microphone and getting to run through the tunnel. It was pretty cool!
Love, love that the spiritual side to this program! They start all the game with prayer, have a weekly memory verse, and their coach has a little devotional time with them at every practice. He awards stars to good sports and for good manners. Love it!
He is playing quarterback. He loves sports SO much and therefore is so focused and can follow detailed instructions...it doesn't take a new coach long to figure out that he does pretty well at quarterback. He can remember the plays and never zones out.
They don't keep score...and I think we might have lost be a few points...but it was a beautiful day and was lots of fun!
Hudson got a start for leadership this week. And a star for good sportsmanship! Way to go Hud!
