The kids started off summer with Summer Spectacular Week at church.
They had a lot of fun with team spirit as you can see. They were on the Orange team! They picked these outfits out completely by themselves....complete with Orange eyelashes and mustache! Can you tell?!
Lawson is a published author! She had an optional activity to write and illustrate your own book sponsored by her language class. She spent hours writing, typing, drawing and coloring the pages of her book. It was then sent into a company who copied and bound it into a hard back book. She chose to write the story of the two dolphins from the Dolphin Tale Movies.
I was really impressed with her dedication to this project. She spent many days after school until bedtime and weekends working on this. You could tell how proud she was of it and her face lit up when it finally arrived as a finished product. Nicely done La!
The second week of summer was Cheer Camp at her Cheer Gym. They brought in a company to teach the girls. The attended 4 days from 9-12. She had a great time and did a great job! Won handfuls of medals...for spirit and stunts!
