The Big Tree

We got our big tree up today! And it took us much longer than normal! Probably because the kids are no longer content to just decorate the bottom part of the tree. But, wanted to take turns climbing the stool to hang each ornament! I guess I can be thankful that we had PLENTY of time to enjoy the moment!

And some ornaments got hung twice...because they BOTH wanted to hang them. This was especially true the star on the top! Really...it took us half the day to decorate this tree! But, it was definately memorable!

And itsn't it beautiful?!

Everyone should have a High School Musical Ornament on their tree!
This is one of the kids new favorite ornaments.

After we got done with the main decorations, Lawson got right to work setting this up under the tree. She set up a small nativity. Then put my Christmas card basket under the tree next to it. Then made a sign for the basket that said....

Not sure what prompted it...but really sweet. And cracks me up that the "please" on the sign was a complete after thought! However, a good thought! And the fact that she gives a suggested donation cracks me up! Robbie and I have both made donations (of $2 each of course!). She is going to take the money to church after Christmas.
