It's Begininng to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

We got home from our Thanksgiving trip today and got right to decorating for Christmas! The kids couldn't WAIT to get their little Christmas trees set up in their rooms! They were really sweet and wanted to team up and decorate their trees together this year.
Lawson's tree is very girly! She has turquoise, purple, pink, yellow, red and white ornaments. It's a very chick look. Plus she has quite a collection of ornaments she has made at preschool and kindergarden.
Hudson has a sports themed tree with basketball, soccer and baseball ornaments. (Need some football ones to round it out!) But, it is very boyish and super fun for him!

However, some weird things happened to their trees and the perfect little schemes I have for their trees.

I noticed this on Hudson's tree...(it's a toy syringe)

and these.... (toy tweezers)

I'm all for the un-orthodox. So, I was cool with those...I guess.

Then Hudson started putting the throw pillows from his bed under the bottom of his tree....which actually looked pretty cute.

THEN...

Robbie made the statement that he could even put a few stuffed animals under his tree too. And boy did he! Lawson thought it was a fabulous idea and went to town on hers too!
