This is the first year I bought an actual pumpkin carving kit and attempted to actually carve our pumpkins. It seems like in previous years I just let the kids color or paint the pumpkins.
Lawson got right to work helping scoop out the freaky insides!
(yeah, I'm adding pumpkin to my "why do people eat this" list. Eggs #1, Pumpkin #2.
Hudson was content to watch us prep the pumpkins. He was not going to get his hands dirty!
However, Hudson was all into it when we got the pumpkin carving knives out!
The kit we used had stickers. The kids got to pick out their pumpkins face....eyes, nose and mouth. Hudson wanted an angry pumpkin and Lawson wanted a happy pumpkin. Sounds about right, doesn't it?
