Goodbye 901 Hunter Lee

Robbie accepted the Workshop Pastor position at Gracepoint Church in Bentonville, Ar and starts there August 1.  This was pretty unexpected for us.  When we moved to the Little Rock area 3 years ago, we thought it would be a long term thing.  But, God started working in our hearts last spring and as we have prayed about it we feel really sure that this is where God wants us.
So, as soon as we finished our AL/FL summer vacay we got busy with getting our house on the market and packing up.  It took the entire month of July to make it happen.  The packing and relocating, setting up/cancelling utilities, finding a place to line in Bentonville, having numerous showings on our home and dealing with contractual things, and the heat of the summer almost killed us! Afterwards, Rob said that moving must be like when a woman has a baby...the only reason you would ever do it again is because with time you forget how bad it hurts!  I think he is on to something!  We moved into a nice rental home in Bentonville and right now I'm content to stay there until I die! (plus its yellow and purple...its our Alma Mater house! OBU!)
So, for memory preservation I thought I would post some pics of another great house we were lucky enough to call home. We will miss you 901 Hunter Lee.

Love the front door!  Gorgeous!

Loved my own side of a roomy bathroom!

Love the view in the backyard!  Fall colors, snow and beginning of so much green in the spring were amazing here!
Love the neighbors kiddos that came to play with our kiddos in this yard!
L:ove this word burning fireplace!  Aww...the sight, sound and smell!
Loved tucking in Hudson in every night here!
Loved sitting in our reclining lawn chairs on brisk fall nights and watching sports!
Love tucking in Lawson every night here!

Loved the gorgeous kitchen from the first time I saw it!
Kinda hard seeing it all empty again!  But, loved the people who lived here with me most of all...and they are going with me!

July Randoms

So, July....
was Lawson's last month at Empire Cheer.  She has taken tumble and cheer here the last year and it has been an amazing experience for her.  She has loved every minute spent at Empire!
...we got our Free Chic Fil A on Cow appreciation Day.  (Boys met us there...therefore not photo'd...but they were in full cow attire as well)

We took this jeep to Goodwill after we pried Lawson out of it!  As documented in SO many of our picture, we have had some fun with the little red jeep!
Lawson had to get some shots before going into 6th grade.  She hasn't had a shot since she got her 4 yrd old shots...and she just had memories of them being something out of a wacky horror movie!  People being really nice to you, then unexpectedly holding you down and stabbing you, and then giving your a sucker?! I kept telling her it wasn't going to be so bad! When the nurse got done with the first shot in her left arm, Lawson looked at her with a puzzled face and said "that's it?!"
Hudson has started training for America Ninja Warrior!  He is obsessed with the show and spend most of his indoor free time working on pull ups!
La and Hud got to spend a few days in Texarkana with Mimi and Doodad and their Giblet cousins!  All I can say is...that's a whole lot of kids having a whole lotta fun!

Gibbs Family Summer Vacay

Here are the pics from the Gibbs Family Summer Vacay.  Another amazing time was had by all!  We missed Brady and Valerie this year!
This best part of this vacation for 17 is how LOW maintenance it is....other than maybe the packing/loading coming and going. We stay at this condo that has the perfect set up for a group of that size.  We divide food assignments.  So, there is no "getting everyone ready" to go out to eat or policing the kids to be quiet in public!  We just hang out for 2 solid days. My kids SO look forward to it every year...and I know they will have the best memories from these weekends! Here are some pics!

(Notice: This game was The Gangsters vs The Butterflies! Ha!)

Thanks everyone for ALL you did to make this another fun Gibbs Family weekend!
Til next year!
