Keystone's Vollapalooza...Say that fast 3 times!

Keystone Church recognized all its volunteers tonight by renting out Keller Pointe water park and throwing a kickin' party!
They brought in a DJ, barbecue feast, pizza for the kids, and Carvel Ice Cream Cakes.
It was such a sweet time to rub shoulders with those who are serving as Christ's hands and feet at Keystone. There were over 400 people there.
The Keystone staff encouraged us by personally serving us dinner and cheering us on as we entered the park on the red carpet!
Thanks Keystone for the VIP treatment! We had a blast!
Looking for a WONDERFUL church to connect with?....

A Little About Hudson

Hudson is 3 and a half, and this post is to remind me of what he was into at the age.
So let's start with his first love....SPORTS!
He has not met a ball he does not love! Just look at his toy box! He just goes from golf to baseball to football to basketball to soccer, etc.
My kitchen spends most of its time as Hud's basketball court. He says the kitchen has the hard floor needed to dribble. Makes preparing for dinner very interesting! Something is totally gonna get spilled or broken any day now.
Hud's second favorite thing is music! He LOVES to sing and play his guitar and drums. (I wonder where he gets this passion from?!)
The basket beside him has about 20 picks he has confiscated from his Daddy. On this day, he was playing a little bit with each pick. He said that all the picks needed a turn!
He LOVES to play computer games on PBSkids.org, and has gotten really good at operating the computer independently.
One of his favorite places to play music is, of course, in my kitchen! The oven door makes a GREAT mirror for him!
And just in the last couple of weeks, he has gotten big-time into playing sports games on the Wii. And he can now start and navigate the games by himself, too. Pretty funny to watch him. He bowled a 240 the other day!
He loves to dress up and pretend play! Here he is being a firefighter. Kinda looks like the Flying Nun (from that old tv show) to me for some reason! Ha!
And he will spend hours coloring EVERY day!
He loves to print coloring sheets off the computer and color them.
Here is a sample of his work. He works really hard to stay in the lines but colors in this weird abstract way. I remember that Lawson colored like this too. I guess it must be a phase that kids go through.

Happy Father's Day, Rob!

We have the best Daddy ever,
and we had fun celebrating Father's Day with him today!
After Rob got home from leading worship, we had lunch and cookie cake. Then we opened gifts. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon out at the pool.
Lawson was ALL about helping him open the new clothes that we got him.
And Hudson was all about Daddy's new kicks!
La sportin' Rob's hat
"Throw me again, Daddy! Throw me again! Throw me high!"
was what I kept hearing over and over and over.
No rest for Daddy...even on Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day, Rob!
We love you!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Brooklyn!

We had SO much fun celebrating with my niece at her birthday party!
Lawson is a birthday party machine. She is totally into the whole party hat, party blower and cupcake scene. I don't think she would believe you turned a year older if you didn't have the correct birthday party set-up! SERIOUSLY, she means business!
Hudson on the other hand....is a sports machine.
This party was a lot of fun with a bounce house and bubbles in the back yard.
And here is what Hudson did....played golf and basketball!
And then here is another shot of the little Miss Party Animal in action!
Thanks for inviting us, Brooklyn! Your party was super fun!
We love you!

Annual Hot Springs Gibbs Family Get-Together

Here are ALL 18 members of the Gibbs Family...
in ONE place at ONE time! This is quite a feat! Good thing we were able to capture it on camera!
There are 16 in my immediate family, but this year my sweet grandparents were able to join us! They live in Northwest Arkansas, and we don't get to see them much. So that made this year's Hot Springs weekend even more special.
We normally ALL get together in the same place at the same time only for a few hours over Christmas it seems...before someone has to return to work or go visit another side of the family. So this Hot Springs weekend get-away is pretty priceless time!
We stay at my sister-in-law's, Ashley, family lakehouse. Her parents are so generous to offer it to us. It is JUST perect! It is very spacious and actually has beds for everyone! The backyard is just gorgeous with an infinity pool' and we have access to boats for tubing and skiing as well.
Everyone kinda chips in on the food. This year my mom cooked this delicious ham that made a great dinner (so I hear) and sandwhiches the next day, Steph & Eddie grilled us a wonderful hamburger dinner Saturday night and Landry & Ashley cooked a fabulous big breakfast on Sunday morning. I am sad to say I contributed water bottles, cookies, toilet paper and paper towels!
I will have to step my game up next year!
Anyway, here are too many pics...but I couldn't help but post them all!
Here are all 7 grandkids!

Fun, fun and more fun!
We are blessed with an amazing family!
Love you guys!
Can't wait til next year!
