Halloween Memories

Here are some fun pics of our Halloween's past!

Love, Love her little feet!

Melt my heart!

Funniest halloween costumes ever!  Little Howie Mandel and Case Girl #3! (from show Deal or No Deal which was in it's prime!)

I sent this pic into the Regis & Kelly show and they showed it on the air!  Sad...but one of my proudest moments!  Love, love me some Kelly Rippa!  And love that my kids were some of the cutest sent in to their show that week! This costume ideas was the result of a brainstorming session between my sister Steph and I.  I was telling her that I didn't know what to dress up Hudson as because he would not keep hats on his head.  Most 1 yr old costumes are animal costumes...which require the hat to be worn to get the full effect!  Steph said think outside the box...think bald.  She through out Mr. Clean first!  Ha!  And then came Howie Mandel! Voila!

Around the 3:55 minute mark they talk and La and Hud.

Check his little black suit with purple dress shirt, rhinestone sticker earrings and soul patch!  He is the real deal!
Rob asked her what number she wanted on her case...3 of course!  Because she was 3!  Come on dad! Lawson watched this TV show with us...so she was excited to be a case girl!
Note:  The next year they were the cutest Cowboy and Cowgirl in red felt trimmed in white/brown cow print complete with cowboy boots, hats and stick horses!  You will just have to imagine it for now...because I can't find the pics...making me CRAZY!
Update:  Just got a hold of this cute one from my in-laws!  Thanks J & T! Includes my sweet nieces too!  I'm still looking for mine too!

Loved trick or treating in the Power Wheels!  You can cover some ground this way!
Love Hudson's tail!
Yes, that is the smurfs theme sound you hear coming from the jeep!  We rigged it up with speakers!

Hud was the Karate Kid from the movie .

Dressing up is always fun! Can't wait for tomorrow!

October Randoms

October has been a fun month!  Can't believe it's almost November! We have really only had 1 cold day so far...and it was Hudson's picture today!  Had to be there at 8am on a Sat...cold, misty and windy!

Lawson's cheer team was in the Bryant Fall Fest parade.  This was a super hot October Sat.

Lawson cheered at a Bryant PeeWee Football Tournament Game at Hornet Stadium.  So, she got to cheer on the track where the High School Cheerleaders Cheer.  This was exciting for the girls!
The girls did a really good job! They have a different captain every week and they call their own cheers.   They even get offense and defense right most of the time! :)
Here are a couple of their little halftime performances.

Lawson is taking a tumbling class at the cheer gym too.  She has just gotten her back bend...on the gym floor.

One night Chic Fil A was offering free food if you wore a crazy hat.  It was a Monday night that Rob had church and I really didn't want to cook.  So, we wore these to Chic Fil A!  Like I said..I REALLY didn't want to cook!

The kids had dress up days at school the week of Homecoming.  Tacky tourist day, Superhero Day, Retro Day etc.  Hudson opted out of several pics and I chose my battles!

Hudson's class went on the funnest field trip to Camp Winnemocha in Arkadelphia.  Say that three times fast!  The camp staff was so energetic.  They divided the kids into boys and girls for an all out war.  There were preliminary games that led to an all out water balloon war in a fort in the woods.  The boys and girls took seperate paths to the war site.  Each kid was given two water balloons and was responsible for carrying it to the site as we hiked about 1/2 through the woods.  The kids were so excited! It was perfect fall weather!

The day ended with a treasure hunt complete with clues.  I have been on quite a few field trips...haven't missed one yet...and this one was one of my favs!
The kids had team colors night at kids life groups one Sunday night.  Each grade is a different color at church.  The kids dug through their dress up clothes box and dressed themselves!  Hudson couldn't find any red socks....so he colored some with a marker!  Hard core these two!

Gibson Comes to Visit

Steph and Eddie asked us if we would like to keep Gibson for the weekend while they went to the Razorback game!  We were so excited!  Lawson got right to making "plans" for what we would do to entertain the little guy!  I came in to the kitchen to find her making this list a few days before he arrived!  So sweet!
He arrived on Friday night and we had dinner, a soccer game, and cheered the Hornets on to a big win! (Hud knew that Gibson was going to wear "footy" PJs so he busted his out to match him.)

The next morning we were off to Hudson's soccer game.  La and Hud were so cute.  They divided up his clothes 50/50 because they both wanted to dress him.  When they tried to start, he kept walking around and they were like "Mom, he won't be still...how do we do this?"  Funny.

Hudson wanted to be in charge of his hair...which really doesn't even require brushing.  But, If you want the "swoosh" hair, I guess it does!  Hudson specifically parted it to the side he part his on!
G was so awesome at the game.  Entertained himself looking for bugs, wearing Aunt Nat's shades and holding a box of crayons (aka "colors".)  This kid LOVES crayons.  He doesn't color with them...just likes to take them in and out of the box!

After the game we headed to a pumpkin patch!  What does Gibson love even more than Crayons...PUMPKINS!  Loves them more than anyone ever I think! It was so cute and hysterical!

There was a little petting zoo at the pumpkin patch too.  Gibson really liked the ducks!

We picked out pumpkins, rode the train and hayride, rode the "bull" and saw the animals!  It was a lot of fun!

We came home and Gibson took a nap while we watched the Razobacks self implode.  Bummer.
But, G was happy as long as he had his prized colors and pumpkin.  When I say he carried them with him everywhere he went until he went home the next day, that would be 100% truth and no exaggeration!

Steph and Eddie picked him up Sunday morning, but not before Hudson had a change to coordinate with him again.  They were so stinkin cute in their matching Romo jerseys!  Didn't take a good pic of them though...mom fail.  La and Hud were playing Jeopardy and he asked to sit in the chair.  He sat there for like 25 minutes watching them!  Cracked me up! Come back soon G!  We loved having you here!
My little pumpkins are getting SO big!
