Day at the Waterpark

We spent the day at a local city waterpark!

And the kids had a blast!

They must have gone done this big slide at least 20 times....and if you think Hudson's feet touched the stairs once...you would be wrong! He somehow suckered Rob or I to carry him up everytime! (Yes, he is rotten! We are aware.)

Last year, Hudson went down the slide ONCE (with his life jacket on) and then he decided he wasn't so sure about the big water slide. Lawson enjoyed it last year...but only with her life jacket on. THIS year, they both went down the slide without their life jackets and just loved it!

This park has a great kiddie area too.

Lawson had fun jumping off of the diving boad again this year. Hudson wanted to try it...but its a pretty good swim to the side of the pool...he is good at swimming short distances on his own....but we all though this might be a stretch. (They don't let you use life jackets on the diving board for some reason.) I bet he will be ready for this diving board next summer.

This was definately one of the highlights of our summer!

A break from triple digit heat!

Ahhh....it was overcast and 82 today! So, we ran outside and rode our bikes, skooters and whatever else we could find! It was SO nice to play outside this afternoon! Can't remember the last time we did that (aside from swimming at the pool)!

This weather made us ready for fall!

Summer Days at SS Noah (my workplace)

The kids have had a fun summer hanging out at SS Noah Playcare with me!

I wanted to document a sample day.

Several mornings each week we visit the donut shop!

Hudson logs some time on the Wii system before the big kids arrive and its hard to get playing time!

Lawson LOVES to help me with my chores. She gets SO excited to help me wash and put away the dishes. I think it has something to do with getting to wear the blue gloves!

Her second favorite past time is making fuse bead art! They just never get old for her!

Hudson LOVES to color everyday. He has a super long attention span when it comes to coloring and colors really well!

They both enjoy making music with their friends!

Lawson loves helping take care of the babies!

All the fun just wears them out!

I'm thankful that I can work and enjoy watching my kiddos play at the same time! It's a win- win for me!

Meet the Teacher Night

So, I now have a little 1st grader! We will be moving on to letter grades and spelling tests this year!

Summer flew by! But Lawson is really excited about going back to school next week!
We went to meet Lawson's 1st grade teacher tonight.

Lawson discovered that she and Ms. Jobe have something really cool in common!

Ms. Jobe's favorite colors are pink and blue...so are Lawson's!

Her school is so nice and cute!

I'm so thankful that she has such a great place to go to school and that it is 1 minute from our house!

Meeting Baby Chandler

Thank you God for this precious gift!

We spent today, our 14th wedding anniversary, meeting my new niece, Chandler Alexsis Nalley! She was born yesterday at 5:45pm and weighed 7lbs 1 oz . She is a total keeper! Can't wait to see her again!
Congratulations Steph & Eddie!
