Random Pics

Lawson made cupcakes for Santa 95% by herself!  I helped fill the cupcake cups and put the pan in the oven.  She did the rest!
Rob is responsible for the stage set at our church.  He cut down tree limbs, painted them white, set them in cement, and put them on the stage surrounded by lighting trusses.  Then directed lights on them...and if you change color of the lights...the trees change colors.  This is the Winter set.  Pretty cool!

Mrs. Clause called the kids on Christmas Eve to tell them Santa was getting ready to come see them! Love La's reaction!
This was robbie's fall stage set.  Thought I would post it since I hadn't.  Again, by changing the lights you could totally change the colors of the squares.  And the color is more intense in person...photo doesn't full capture the effect.  Again cool!
Hudson dress this picture for Max (our elf from Santa) really quicky one afternoon...and i thought it was REALLY good!
At church one Sunday morning with the pretty Christmas trees.
Our church just got a new mascot for the kids area.  He is a dog named Rocky.  He visits the kids area most Sundays.  The kids LOVE him!
All bundled up one cold school morning!
Helping Poppa blow out his candles at Cracker Barrel back in December.  Happy Birthday Poppa!
Robbie accompanied Richard, our Worship Pastor, one morning on the local ABC Good Morning Arkansas program.  Richard sand a couple of songs and talked up our Church's Christmas Eve Program.  The kids thought it was super cool that their dad was on TV and with the local news personalities we watch every morning!
Hudson wrapping Lawson's Chritmas gift!
My boys at church one morning! Handsome dudes!
And crazy!
Rob and I on Christmas Eve
Lawson with her goodies from Santa
Hudson playing with some of his new toys!
We rang in the New Year by watching Karate Kid 1 and 2 with the kids!  It was awesome! And Hudson was inspired!
Evidentally, the inspiration was contagious!

100th Day of School

Wow!  100th day of school!
Where did MY mind immediately go?! I have packed 200 lunches (lawson and hudson), layed out 200 outfits, driven to and from their school 200 times, and checked folders for homework 200 times....just since school started!

Now, about Hudson!  His class celebrated 100 all day.  They counted things, made $100 bills with their own pics on them, and had cupcakes! They have been counting the days of school every morning in circle time all year long...anxiously awaiting the big 100!  Really cute!

Nursery Rhyme Day

Today, Hudson's class was supposed to dress up as a nursery Rhyme character and recite the nursery Rhyme to the class.  Huson decided to do "Humpty Dumpty" because he said it was the easiest one!  His teacher strongly encouraged the kids NOT to buy costumes...but just do your best and use props!  Here is the class photo...I'm laughing SO hard!  I see Little Bo Peep and Little Miss Muffet...but have NO ideas who the rest are!  Humpty wears shorts, dress shoes, a bow tie and a top hat...so we did our best with what we had. (You can't see his long denim shorts and dress shoes!) But, Hudson totally looked like Humpty Dumpty meets Justin Bieber! He sure has a cute little class though!

My 38th / Hudson's Basketball Game

Today was my 38th Birthday! And it was great! I started the day going to Hudson's first Basketball game playing with a rec team in Bryant!  He plays for the Heat.  (Not so sure how I fell about THAT...being a big Mavs fan!) Hudson had quite a cheering section...Nonie and Poppa came...as did Mimi and Doo Dad.  Doo Dad even ran the clock for the game!  Way to volunteer Doo Dad! The Heat won and Hudson had fun!

A fun treat to have my parents at my house for my birthday!  I haven't spent my birthday with them in forever!  My parents treated us to lunch.  My mom brought a "birthday party"..including a party hat, birthday banner, party blowers, and home made birthday cake!  (Her birthday cake is one of my favs!) Thanks Mom!

Late afternoon Doo Dad and Rob crashed.  Lawson, Mom and I talked and went to look at houses.  And Hudson was left to referee 2 NFL play off games!  What a day!

Here's to 38!
