Happy New Year!

A bat and a hat!
I took the kids to get party hats to wear to dinner on New Year's Eve. But, Hudson said they were all girlish so he didn't want one. We had to run into target and he latched on to this bat. So, here is our New Year's pic with....a bat and a hat!
Wishing you a blessed and prosperous 2011!

Christmas with the Buie Side

After Rob got back from hunting, the kids and I drove up from T-Town to spend Christmas with his family! Lawson spends SO much time gazing at their tree. They have quite a collection of special ornaments! I have pics of her every year in this same spot!
The kids were suprised with some packages that Santa left at Noni and Poppa's house for them! It's not a great pic but look at Hud's face! He got Nintendo DSI. You think he was thrilled?!
Look at Lawson's face in this pic!
And Rob and I got our very own pillow pets!
Hudson didn't waste a minute figuring his Ds out!

They played them until bedtime! Literally!
AND....the biggest news is that BOTH of my kids now LOVE Benji (Rob's sister's dog). If you know my kids at all, you will be totally shocked at these next two photos!
We had a long, fun, relaxing, wonderful holiday!
It was a shame we had to pack up and go home!

Christmas with the Gibbs side

All 17 members of the Gibbs clan in one place at one time!
Quite a feat! We all met up at Steph's house on Christmas afternoon. And I have to give a shout out to Steph's & Eddie's new couch that is large enough to hold 17 people! Here are some closeup shots of the gang!

This is where the kids spent most of their time....holed up behind the couch hangin with Baby Chandler!
Here are Landry and I solving all the world's problems!

Boys club!

These two!
Our best effort at taking 8 kids picture wearing Christmas hats!
Listening to Uncle Landry read the christmas story out of the big family bible while Aunt Steph slipped them animal crackers (to keep everyone still and quiet)!
Let the crazy present opening time begin!

Nat got a super fun card with a special recorded message from "Santa" (aka Brady)!
Sharing the card with Rob!
Whew! After all the little kidos left or went home, we settled down to watch the second half of the Cowboy football game! Why? I guess we like to be sad on Christmas?!
Can't believe my kids are now old enough to stay up and watch football with the grown ups!
Rob went hunting and so the kids and I spent a few days in Texarkana with my parents. DooDad and Hud played a little driveway tennis!
La and I decorated cookies.
We had a playdate with Reese, Cannon, Palmer and Griffin.
They got a sweet ride for Christmas!
And no holiday would be complete without a stop at Chuck e Cheese!
