Here are some fun things we did this month. One HOT summer afternoon the neighborhood gang planned and ran a snow cone stand. Rob hooked them up with the beach umbrellas! Which was perfect....because they called their stand the Rainbow Snowcone Stand. The kids all planned to wear a different color of the rainbow. They ran this stand from 4pm until past dark! We have the best neighbors who stop and by our stuff! 
Nonie treated Lawson and Morgan to a day of shopping and lunch! They had SO much fun and spent hours in the dressing rooms! They couldn't WAIT to get into their new clothes! They changed in the car outisde of Justice!
We borrowed Judy and Turner's jetskis one Sat and took off to Lake Hamilton. We ate lunch on the porch of one of our favorite restaurants...Fisherman's Wharf! Food is yummy, very festive and the kids love to feed the fish.
Of course, we had to drive down to the dam and jump in the cold water. It was a super hot day and we all managed to jump in!
We made a stop at Chuck E Cheese one evening for some fun!
We made quite a few trips to the library this summer too! They have a fun summer reading program with fun prizes when you reach certain levels. The kids really enjoy picking books on subjects they want to learn more about. Lawson checked out lots of books on how to take care of a dog....in hopes that mom ever allows her to get one! She likes to keep hope alive and slowly but surely try to wear me down! Hudson checked out books on magic, Elvis and Michael Jackson! He's our little entertainer for sure!
One one of my last summer days to spend with the kids before I went back to work, I took the kids to the mall for some fun. Hudson made a ninja turtle and Lawson made a dog. We were probably there fore two hours figuring out the "needed" accessories! We had so much fun!
My little lunch dates! I am SO thankful to have a job where I have so much time to spend with my kiddos in the summer! Special days that I treasure!
Hudson had been asking and asking to go play putt putt golf. And two things came together for him to make it happen! First, we had an amazing cool front blow through keeping the highs in the low 70s for several days and I had heard about a new putt putt golf course coming in near our house. So, we took off one night after dinner for some fun!
The kids are skilled enough at golf that we had a pretty competive 4 way game! We had so much fun...no need to mention who won. (Me.)
Of course, they had bumper boats and go karts too! And the best deal was to buy the pass that includes it all! I thought you would just get splashed from bumping into each other. And was totally prepared for that! WRONG! They have squirt guns....and you there is not much of the pool that is not in this pic! I was SO wet and SO cold! Remember the cool front? It was high 60s, cloudy and windy. We laughed so hard!
Next up...Go Karts to dry off! Good times!
