My mom came into town yesterday to be here to keep Hudson and help us out over the weekend while we are at the surgery center. She brought some fun goody bags filled with clothes, books, and a movie for each of the kids!
Then she brought in this CRAZY cute and SUPER thoughtful goody basket from Aunt Ash, Uncle Landry, Reese, Cannon, Palmer and Griffin.
Lawson had a blast going through it!
They thought of everything!New PJ's, rainbow socks and house shoes to wear while she was recouping.
Coloring books, story books and stickers to keep her busy.

I'm glad that I have such a brave and pleasant little patient. Makes it SO much easier on me!
Here she is minus her tonsils and adnoids. Oh yeah...they also made a last minute decision to put a tube in her right ear. There has been fluid in that ear for the past few months.Let the sleeping begin!

She slept for the next 20 hours! (She would wake up to take her medicine, grab a sip and then pass back out.)
She has done suprisingly well. The doctor painted a picture of a pretty tough recovery...with much pain and crankiness. That has not been the case for us so far. She has been drinking well and has even eaten some mac-n-cheese and a soft breadstick. She was up and about on Saturday. We even had to remind her not to run.(She is still taking her pain medication though.)
We are SO thankful for everyone's thoughts, gifts and prayers!
Thank you, God, for giving wisdom to our doctors and nurses wisdom.
Thank you, God, for giving Lawson strength, a positive mindset and healing her little body quickly!
