Pumpkin Carving

The kids grabbed a quick bath after dinner and we spent the evening carving our pumpkins.  This has become another family tradition!

The kids always have fun exploring the inside of the pumpkin.  This year they actually cleaned the insides out pretty much by theirselves.  Which is good...because the inside of the pumpkin kind of freaks me out!

We roasted some pumpkin seeds.  Hudson had heard some people at school talk about roasting and eating pumpkin seeds.  He could hardly wait for them to come out!
They smelled and tasted good!

Not sure how I feel about our final prodcut!  The kids designed their own pumpkins this year...and Robbie transferred them to the pumpkin.  Hudson wanted one that looked "scary" and Lawson wanted one with "braces".  I guess that's what they look like..but they are a little freaky.  I like happy pumpkins!
