Lawson's 9th Birthday!

My Baby Girl is 9!!
Happiest Birthday Sweetie!
You are a gift from God and bring us much joy!
(BTW...your halfway to 18....and your mom can't take it! But, we will think about that tomorrow!)

She has had strong opinions about her clothes since she was 2!  And she really likes to shop and pick out her outfits now!  So, for her birthday I took her shopping on Sunday to pick out a birthday outfit!  It was a little difficult...because all the summer-y clothes are out...and the high was like 48 on her birthday!  AND...Mondays are PE day so she has to wear tennis shoes!  But, she managed to navigate all the obstacles and come up with something she loved!

Pink and blue (her fav colors)...

a neon giraffe t-shirt (her fav animal)...

and rainbow leopard shoes!

Rob was a Watch Dog Dad at their school today!  And I brought lunch up to school for everyone! We partied all day!
Lawson has graduated past McDonalds.  Now when asked what she wants for lunch she chooses Chic-fil-A!  That's my girl!

There was only 1 thing she wanted for her birthday...and by the look on her face I think it was in that pink bag! A Baby Alive doll!
It was from Hudson!  There was a quick embrace!

We had a crazy busy day!  Nonie and Poppa came over for dinner.  I made Fettucine Alfredo for dinner...her favorite dish at restaurants.  I have never made the sauce from scratch...so I found a quick recipe on Pinterest and whipped it up.  She ate every bite...so I guess it was good!  Then she, Nonie and I were off to her dance class.  Meanwhile the boys suited Hudson up for his first baseball game of the season.  We met them out at the ballfield at 7:30 for his game.  It was FREEZING!  We got home at 9:15.  Kids weren't asleep until after 10!
Lawson started an art project at school that used construction paper crayons.  She brought it home to complete it!  Problem is we haven't been able to find construction paper crayons anywhere and regular ones wouldn't match up with what she had started!  Nonie found them at a teacher store!  But, she had to buy a classroom supply of 400!  So, if anyone needs any...

Happy Birthday Lawson!  We love you!!!
