I am SO thankful for the opportunity that Lawson and Hudson had this week to attend Kamp Kanakuk onsite at Church at Rock Creek. They had a blast! The camp staff is incredibly high energy and really creates a super fun camp environment. The kids rotated from station to station during the day...water inflatables, zip line, trampolines, nerf gun wars, archery, play tunnels, octoball, bible time, large group time, snacks and lunch. They were like zombies every afternoon when we picked them up!
They both won some amazing awards. Lawson won the 110 percent award from her leader. And Hudson won the friendship award from his leader. 
During large group time there was 1 girl selected in the older girls group who received the total release award. Lawson was selected! This was a girl who gave camp her ALL and therefore probably came home exhausted. I was so pleasantly surprised that she won! Way to go La!
