Silver Dollar City - Christmas Style!

We had a free ticket left over to Silver Dollar City that has to be used by the end of the year. So, we loaded up and came to Branson for the weekend.  This was the first weekend of the year they have their Christmas décor up!  5.5 million lights this year!  Pretty awesome!

We spend the day riding rides with the most beautiful fall views!

Silver Dollar City tells the true story of Christmas in several ways at the park.  We rode the train that circles the park...and it stopped long enough for "Grandpa" to recite the Christmas story from the bible.  Pretty cool!
Stopped by a little shop where this man would teach you how to play the dulcimer.  Didn't even know what that was! And we went to the Frosty show.  They got to go on the stage for a sing a long.  They loved it!

Once it got dark, it was COLD and beautiful!  We got some hot chocolate and lined up to watch the parade!  Fun times!  This is the funniest pic of La and Hud!

Then we had some fun swimming at the hotel pool before we drove back home!

Picking out souvenir rocks is not easy!  It took all four of us to get it done!
 Fun weekend getaway!
