Spring Break

Lawson's birthday fell during our Spring Break...so she got an early present to pack in! 

 We got up at 6am on Monday morning, put on our swimsuits and drove to Dallas!  We got there about 1:30pm and were ready to hit the indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge.

 Then it was go time! 

 Yes, we stood uder the huge bucket of water that dumps about every 7 minutes!  Crazy!  Why? I'm not sure! I was told by Hudson it was fun! Almost knocked me down everytime!  And it took Hudson's swimsuit down the first time he tried it!  Hudson loved it!  I took one for the team and did it with the kids...because I can't think of much worse! It was really cold, felt like you were being drowned and it was lasted forever!

 The kids loved the room!  This little wolf den was located inside our hotel room.  Outfitted with bunk beds and their own TV.

 We enjoyed story time, the arcade and the ice cream shop!

  

The next day was Lawson's 10th birthday! Never celebrated on in a hotel before.  Rob got up early and brought back a dozen hot Crispy Crème donuts! Great bday breakfast!

 Next up...presents!

 Then we got dressed and took off for the rest of the big day!  We saw our old house, the kids old schools, and saw our favorite restaurants and shopping.

 We had not been back to Keller since we moved.  So, we went on a little trip down memory lane! So weird how much a lot of things had already changed!

 Our house!  Our tree is getting really big!  Lawson helped us plant it.  It was about the same height as her when we planted it!  And she was 2!

Then we headed to downtown to see the Mavs!

 How can she be 10!  She was SO surprised!  She was like "I didn't think they would know!"

 I emailed the Mavs and had Lawson's name added to the bday list that displays on the big screen!

 Oh, how I love the Mavs! This was a thriller!  We beat OKC Thunder in OT!

And surprise...Hudson pulled a tooth during the game! 

Aunt Steph had a tennis match.  Hudson, being the biggest sportsman, really wanted to go watch.  I don't think they usually have a big audience...but they had a family of four watching today. Steph was a good sport to let us watch!    Steph and her partner won....the kids were so impressed with how good Aunt Steph is!  It was fun!

Steph and her crew were super sweet to throw La a little party while we there too!  Complete with cake, party hats and present!  Thanks, guys!

 Thursday evening we went to the Rangers Game.  It was a beautiful...WINDY...evening! A lot of fun!

We didn't go to the Cowboys game...because it isn't football season...you can just see the stadium from the Rangers ballpark...but that would have completed out Dallas Sports Trifecta!
