Little La is 11?! Doesn't seem possible!
This year for her birthday she and her girlfriends decided to have a "group" bday party! Her closest friends all have birthdays within a few days of hers and no one had really made party plans.
We went to dinner at Chili's, went to see Cinderella and followed it up with a sleepover at our house. All the girls' picks!
They exchanged gifts! Check out all the Chevron! Funny!
I asked them in a joking way if they wanted us to sing to them or if they just wanted to blow the candles out. I figured they would be mortified if we sang to them in Chili's. I was wrong. They said "Yes!" So, we sang Happy Birthday!
They all four rode int he back seat to the movies talking selfies as we drove!
I forgot to take a pic at the theatre. Sad face. We all loved Cinderalla!
First up at our house was the game Bean Boozled. Everyone eats a jelly bean of the same color. In this package, there is a gross and good flavor of the same color. So, the green jelly bean might be grass clippings or lime. The orange may be peach or barf. The brown might be root beer or dog poop. You get the idea. Rob and I just watched! Pretty entertaining!
Lawson wanted to decorate for the donut breakfast she planned at the sleep over. We picked up some goodies and she decorated our breakfast nook by herself! It turned out really cute!
The girls didn't go to sleep until 3am! Whew! They started a movie around 2am and said they would get their sleeping bags out in a bit. But, when I woke up at 7 the next morning this is what I found. All 4 of them asleep on one HALF of our sectional! The other end was completely emtpy! There wer arms and legs tangled everywhere!
After breakfast, they took some music out the swingset and played. Really cute!
Rob and I took a nap after all the girls left. Lawson did not! I don't know how she made it through that next day! I think she was on a high! She had a blast!
