COA Competition

Lawson, Judy and I drove up to Kansas City for another cheer compeition.  Judy and I were in the front of the Suburban and Lawson rode in the backseat reclined with pillow and blanket watching a movie.  Tough Life! It was a quick trip but we had a great time.  Lots of card games and laughs!

Team Slate performed this routine the cleanest and with the most energy!  It was SO good.  It was even better than last time! Sharp, clean and lots of fun faces!

They came in second place!  It was close between them and the team that took first place.  The other team had a little more difficulty in their stunts.  Our girls should be proud be they killed their routine!

And they won a bid to US Finals on Arpil 16 in Kansas City due to them having the second highest score amoung all the prep teams that competed that day!  Great job, Lawson!

Hudson had his first baseball game of the season on Saturday so Rob, Turner and Hudson stayed in Bentonville.  The spent their freetime Friday evening out at a Razorback Baseball game.  The hogs came back from behind to win.  It was a great game.

Hudson was the lead off batter at his game.  And he got a walk.  He stole two bases and then scored the winning run! He played short stop.  He had a great first game but unfortunately his team lost 10-2.  I hated that I missed it!  Hoping it goes better next game!
