We love a parade! So, we sacrificed sleep to load up early today and drive over to downtown Dallas for the Nieman Marcus Christmas parade.
I had NO idea that Dallas had such a big christmas parade (even though we have lived here since 2000) until we saw the Nieman Marcus Parade on TV last year. We recorded the parade last year and the kids watched it over and over for quite some time! They LOVED the big balloons.
And to be honest I do too! Just look at them! Pretty exciting!
Hudson LOVED the action figures riding firetrucks!

The Berenstein Bears were really cute! They had cute music and were dancing.
Woooo....Darth Vader! Rob and Hudson were excited.
Spiderman was pretty impressive. He was riding on TOP of the firetruck while it was moving. He kept striking all her "spidy" poses. 
La & Hud LOVE the Grinch. So, this was one of their favs.
Me: "Lawson, look there is Miss USA."
Me again: "And Lawson, that is Miss Texas."Lawson: "So, there are sisters."

It got a little windy....so they had to keep a tight reign on the balloons at the end of the parade.

The Grand Finale: SANTA!!!
We got up at 6am on a Sat (our only morning to all sleep in), walked 3 or 4 miles, and drove 2 hours roundtrip. But, we all agreed it was worth it!
